Kenneth Choi is currently shooting Season 9 of ABC’s hit series
“9-1-1” from creator Ryan Murphy. The show continues to be a
ratings juggernaut with season eight having premiered to over 10
million viewers. His role of Howie “Chimney” Han is a fan
favorite.

Choi recently wrapped on the Amazon/MGM feature “Mercy” from
director Timur Bekmambetov and Oscar®-winning producer Charles Roven
(Oppenheimer). He will be seen in theaters starring opposite Chris
Pratt and Rebecca Ferguson when the film launches later this year.
Choi also starred in director Yen Tan’s feature “All That We
Love” alongside Margaret Cho and Jesse Tyler Ferguson. The film
premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival last year to strong reviews. He
was also seen in the film “Joe Baby” from director Steven Brand
opposite Harvey Keitel, Ron Perlman and Willa Fitzgerald. He will also
be appearing in a recurring role on Apple TV’s “The Morning
Show” in its upcoming season with Jennifer Aniston, Reese
Witherspoon and Marion Cotillard.

Choi has worked with some of the best directors in the industry —
from Martin Scorcese (on “Wolf of Wall Street”), Steven Spielberg
(on “The Terminal”), David Ayer (on Warner Bros./DC Comics
“Suicide Squad,” “Street Kings” and Netflix’s “Bright”),
Joe Johnston (on “Captain America: The First Avenger”), Jon Watts
(on “Spider-Man: Homecoming”) and Akiva Goldsman (on Blumhouse’s
“Stephanie”). Some of Choi’s other feature credits include Drew
Pearce’s “Hotel Artemis” alongside Jodie Foster, Sterling K.
Brown and Dave Bautista; Film District’s “Red Dawn” opposite
Chris Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson and Jeffrey Dean Morgan; Amazon’s
“Gringo” from director Nash Edgerton opposite Charlize Theron; and
“Office Uprising” alongside Zachary Levi and Jane Levy.

On the television side, the list of creators and producers that Choi
has worked with is equally impressive. He’s worked with Ryan Murphy
on “American Crime Story: The People v. OJ Simpson” as Judge Lance
Ito, in addition to his eight seasons on “9-1-1.” Choi worked with
Lord & Miller on Fox’s comedy “Last Man on Earth” with Will
Forte, Kurt Sutter on FX’s “Sons of Anarchy,” and Aaron Sorkin
on HBO’s “The Newsroom.” Choi’s other TV credits include
series regular roles on NBC’s “Allegiance” and “Ironside,”
Starz’ “Counterpart” with JK Simmons, FX’s “Snowfall,” and
many more.
